These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Scholarship Tally at https://scholarshiptally.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
Scholarship Tally publishes informational guides about scholarships and study abroad funding for international students. We are a content and discovery resource. We are not a university, government agency, scholarship provider, or application processing service.
2. Informational purpose only
All articles, lists, labels (including “fully funded” and “partial”), deadlines, eligibility summaries, and links are provided for general information. Programme rules change. Official funders and universities control eligibility, awards, and timelines.
You must verify every material detail on the official source before you apply or make financial plans. Scholarship Tally does not provide legal, immigration, or financial advice.
3. No guarantee of awards or outcomes
We do not guarantee that any scholarship remains open, that our summary is complete, that you will be eligible, or that you will receive funding. Application decisions belong solely to the relevant institution or funder.
UTC deadline displays and funding labels are good-faith summaries based on publicly available information at the time of writing. Errors or changes can occur.
4. Not an application portal
The Site does not accept scholarship applications, collect application fees on behalf of funders, or submit materials for you. Any payment requested by a third party claiming to represent Scholarship Tally for “processing” an award should be treated as unauthorised. Report concerns via our contact page.
5. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Site to scam, mislead, or impersonate Scholarship Tally or any funder
- Scrape the Site in a way that impairs service or violates applicable law
- Post unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content where comments or forms are enabled
- Attempt unauthorised access to Site systems
- Use Site content to suggest we endorse or partner with a programme unless we have agreed in writing
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, text, branding, and original graphics on the Site are owned by Scholarship Tally or used under licence. You may share links and quote short excerpts with attribution for non-commercial personal use. You may not republish full guides as your own content without permission.
7. Third-party links
Guides link to university, government, and foundation websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or availability. Your use of those sites is governed by their terms.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scholarship Tally and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, lost funding, travel costs, application fees, or other losses arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any content—even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid us for Site access in the three months before the claim (if any) or (b) a minimal amount required by applicable law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scholarship Tally and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Privacy
Personal data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in that jurisdiction shall have exclusive venue for disputes that cannot be resolved informally, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply where you live.
