Eligibility
According to the Boustany Foundation, candidates must have an excellent academic background and show considerable promise. You may apply for the scholarship only after you receive an offer of admission from the Harvard MBA programme.
The scholarship can be awarded to candidates of any nationality. Priority is given to candidates of Lebanese descent, but strong applicants from all countries are encouraged to apply.
Funding and internship
The scholarship provides financial aid amounting to 75% of tuition fees. It does not fully fund the entire MBA programme, so you should plan for the remaining tuition and living costs.
Selected scholars must complete a two-month unpaid internship at the Boustany Foundation office in Monaco over the summer. The Foundation covers travel, food, and accommodation related to the internship. Internship dates may be arranged case by case between the scholar and the Foundation. During the internship, scholars typically work on projects such as increasing awareness of the Foundation, proposing new scholarships, or other initiatives aligned with the Foundation’s vision.
How to apply
- Secure an official offer of admission to the Harvard Business School MBA programme. The Foundation does not decide Harvard admissions; apply through Harvard’s own process (see the Harvard Business School MBA programme page).
- Prepare your curriculum vitae with a photograph, your Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores, and your Harvard acceptance letter.
- Email those materials to the Boustany Foundation admissions address listed on the official Harvard University MBA Scholarship page before 31 May 2027.
- If shortlisted, attend one or more interviews with the Foundation. One candidate is awarded the scholarship, with the decision expected in June 2027.
Applications submitted without proof of Harvard admission will not be considered.
